Senior Payroll Specialist with English and another European languages

Location: Wrocław

Main objective of role

  • The Senior Payroll Specialist will work with the payroll team to provide proactive administrative and payroll support to employees of BD
  • Takes full responsibility for an accurate Payroll
  • Responsible for the input of variable data on a monthly basis
  • Work with the HR Managers to ensure payroll deadlines are met
  • Provide data as required for external parties, such as the HMRC, payroll provider etc.
  • First point of call for all payroll related queries
  • Administering and supporting new employee induction processes
  • General administrative duties
  • Collation of information and preparation of weekly and monthly reports on a timely basis
  • Completes SAP invoicing for the function
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by the HR Managers

Requirements

  • Fluent command of English
  • Very good knowledge of German, French, Italian or Spanish
  • Experience of working within a fast paced HR environment
  • Demonstrable payroll experience, with experience of HR databases/payroll systems (ADP Freedom and Workday)
  • Excellent administration, organisation and planning skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Conscientious approach to work
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information in an appropriate and confidential manner
  • Flexible in approach to work and able to cope with changing priorities and demands
  • Computer literate with excellent Microsoft office skills including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
  • The ability to work accurately to strict deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Team member, willing to act on behalf of team
  •  Experience in SAP will be an advantage
