Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Netherlands.

The company is a Biotech and Pharmaceutical organisation that is based in Zuid-Holland, the Netherlands. They are also known as the world's premier consumer health company and the largest and most diverse medical devices organisation.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As the senior NPI Planner / Buyer you will be mainly responsible for executing and leading all activities that are related to the introduction, planning and procurement of operational supplies and raw materials needed for clinical and commercial New Product Introductions (NPI) to ensure timely availability of the right quantity of materials. This will be done in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to identify NPI material requirements, to source new materials, to qualify material and suppliers, to test and release as well as external suppliers located across the world. In addition, you will be responsible for expanding the Vender Managed Inventory (VMI) in collaboration with a preferred supplier and quality customers while maintaining or improving replenishment service level and development of metrics for VMI performance measurement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, maintain, communicate and carry out the publication of the Material Requirements Plans (MRP) to ensure that the requirements of the patient / customer are met.
- Maintain the raw materials and components within our goal.
- Ensure that all material delivery schedules are communicated to the suppliers on time in order to meet NPI plan requirements.
- Responsible for timely availability of raw materials and operational supplies.
- Resolve any Received Order Problems (ROP's) and possible payment mismatches related to NPI materials order.
- Planning of Material Requirements of laboratory lab chemicals and supplies.
- Collaborate with Global Procurement to drive supplier performance improvement including quality and on-time delivery in line with MPS.
- Support the RCCP / S&OP processes for material and component suppliers.
- Effectively partner with all internal and external business partners.
- Support material and component Phase in and Phase out processes.
- Make necessary and physical arrangement with the supplier to ensure a prompt return of goods and disposal.

REQUIREMENTS

- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or other related business discipline.
- Certification of Supply Chain Preferred e.g. APICS.
- Lean Certificate Desirable.
- Practical experience with ERP, preferable SAP.
- GMP and/or Pharma environment experience required.
- Planning/purchasing experience in a multi-national environment.
- Flawless Project Execution (FPE) and /or other project management methodology experience preferred.
- Planning experience highly preferred.
- Fluent in English, Dutch a plus.
- Ability to handle challenging and difficult situations.
- Able to co-ordinate cross-functional teams.
- Able to engage with external suppliers in a ethical and compliant manner.
