For our client, an international automotive companies we are looking for:
Senior Middleware SpecialistMiejsce pracy: Gliwice
Responsibilities:
- Support Regional IT teams with troubleshooting and maintaining Middleware infrastructure.
- Support Vendor Service Management activities partnering with VMO and following escalation processes.
- Develop and execute maintenance plans (MACD for Middleware technology and maintains Middleware architectures).
- Support Project Execution, partnering with Enterprise and Regional Services IT teams and external service providers, utilizing tools and following IT Standards and Procedures.
- Reporting time (efforts), Tracking vendor resources time in time reporting tools
- Covering all critical equipment’s through Annual maintenance contract, reporting issues with services providers and escalating as per vendor service level agreements
- Follow Change Management processes and Critical Communication Process during outages and changes
- Actively Participate in Regional and Enterprise team meetings, to understand business requirements, team progress and work on action plans as per committed timelines - Provide solutions to reported issues from Regional Teams to resolve incidents, problems or improvements
- Support in providing all Infrastructure cost for AOP Preparation and track spending monthly within the financial limits.
- Participate in BOS Reporting, Continuous Improvement and Lead problem solving (8D) analysis to avoid repeat issues
- Proactively support all critical equipment’s and end user capacity management issues by archiving or upgrading the infrastructure
- Support Entitlement processes for end users access request
- Participate in off-hours On-Call periodical shifts to resolve critical incidents, shall they happen.
Qualifications:
- 4 year University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- 5+ years’ experience of relevant working in a Enterprise Organization supporting internal IT Infrastructure on-site and remotely (automotive and/or manufacturing industries is a plus).
- Certificate (Optional): ITIL, J2EE Certified.
- Global perspective and experience is a must.
- Demonstrated knowledge of middleware software, office automation, networking, Wintel/Unix computing.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with application delivery, application development, project managers and business colleagues, delivering effective IT/business solutions.
- Experience working in remote/virtual team and environment.
- Ability to work independently in a matrix organization.
- Administrative knowledge of Web Services (IIS, WebLogic, Websphere, Tomcat, JBOSS) is desired.
- Administrative knowledge of Autosys, Cognos, Oracle Forms, Hyperion, Courion is desired.
- Unix shell, or WLST, or ANT, or JAVA, or Perl, or HTML scripting skills.
- Knowledge of “Software as-a Service” Architecture is desired.
- Working knowledge of DB and infrastructure (Oracle/SQL RDBMS, Operating Systems, Networks, Hardware)
- Ability to use MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required.
