Senior Manual QA Engineer
Miejsce pracy: ŁódźWe are looking for experienced professional with strong technical skills and quality mindset to join an American global technology company that touches nearly every aspect of travel.
The project is dealing with an aircraft weight & balance product. It is a part of the Departure Control Systems suite and is used by airlines to control how passengers, their bags and cargo are loaded onto an airplane in a safe and secure manner ensuring that the aircraft stays within its center of gravity limits. The product is a flight safety criti-cal system and needs the highest level of development quality to be maintained at all times. With a large customer base, the product is in use at many airlines around the world and enables them to carry out their operations in a safe and efficient manner. It is a desktop application written in Visual C++ with Java based backend integration components on the Windows platform. The existing QA team is split into two locations: Kraków (PL) and Dallas (US). The testers are working hand-in-hand with developers in collocated SCRUM teams and are responsible for creating test cases, executing and automating them. We are using test automation framework build on Nunit and TestStack. White with C# as the programming language. Currently we are looking for a passionate tester who will join our test team and help us to assure appropriate quality of future releases of Load Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Designs and executes manual (mainly) and automated test scripts
- Documents and tracks product testing results.
- Develops and executes software test plans.
- Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
- Assist in providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies to increase test coverage effectiveness as well as better resource utilization.
- Cooperation with SCRUM Team to analyze the results of software tests
Requirements:
- 4+ experience in Software Testing
- Very good communication in English, written and verbal
- Quick learner
- Analytical problem solving
- Knowledge of testing domain
Nice to have:
- SSCI experience
- Interact knowledge
- Experience in Airline or Travel Industry
- Experience with testing management tools, bug tracking tools, test planning
- Knowledge of object oriented programming (C#, C++, Java)
- Experience in test automation
- Knowledge of databases and SQL
