For our Client, one of the largest global custodian and global asset managers, we are searching for skilled, focused on quality and details individual that is willing to develop his/her skills as a Senior Java Developer Manager. The role is to facilitate the growth of an international IT Department , located in Poland, Wroclaw.
Your new role
For our Client we are looking for motivated and keen to develop specialist who would like to join team as a Senior Java Manager. This application technology specialist position is to join a dedicated technical team working to continue to leverage and enhance our suite of internal technology products to meet ongoing and evolving regulatory requirements and/or targeting client specific needs within EMEA. We are looking for a senior developer with strong architectural skills to help us deliver and optimize upon these opportunities
What you'll need to succeed
Formal education in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience) Required Skills (proven track record in): JEE background, 5+ years commercial development experience in Java technologies (e.g. JEE, JSP, Servlets, EIP, XML/XSLT, JSON, SQL, JavaScript) Experience of front end web technology (e.g. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks - jQuery, Angular, Bootstrap, Spring etc.) Experience of developing code targeted at one or more Enterprise Java Application Servers – ideally Apache Tomcat Service orientated architecture and integration tech. (REST, JSON) Strong relational database experience (preferably SQL Server) Advocate of Agile engineering principles and familiarisation of working in geographically dispersed teams Excellent communication skills, both face to face and with remote locations Lead a new team based on development
