For our Client, British supplier of gas and electricity located in Kraków, we are currently looking for a person interested in the role of a Senior Java Developer.
Your new role
Holding this position you will be responsible for delivering high quality and efficient code following the basic Agile principles of test driven development, leading planning and estimating sessions, reporting progress to the assigned project lead and/or project manager as well as leading design and code reviews. Moreover, your duties will also include acting as a Scrum Master for small projects, typically as part of a large project under the guidance of a Lead or Principal Software Engineer.
What you'll need to succeed
As a successful Candidate you need to possess experience of developing software using Java EE as well as knowledge of application servers, specifically JBoss & Wildfly, Docker, Spring-boot, REST, SQL & Cassandra, Junit/JBehave/Mocking frameworks for developing tests and Maven. If you are familiar with Axway, Groovy/Grails/Gradle, Continuous delivery and build automation tools (Jenkins), TDD and Unix, it will be considered as your additional asset. Very good English is a must.
