For our Client, the UK’s biggest independent energy supplier offering electricity and gas services, we are currently looking for a person interested in the position of Java Developer.
Your new role
As a Java Developer you will be in charge of designing and implementing the core business logic and integration of the company’s systems. You will be responsible for developing both web and mobile applications, your duties will include investigating system faults, diagnosing problems, proposing and providing solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful Candidate on this position you need to have excellent knowledge of full stack Java EE, experience with Spring, Akka, XML processing, Javascript, SQL as well as knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra) and Java reporting tools (e.g. JasperReports). Moreover, you also have to have good command of English as well as knowledge of continuous integration and Agile methodology.
