For our client, international company leading eCommerce software we are looking for a person for the position: Senior Java Developer.
Working on this position you will be responsible for developing softwarethat extends the company’s platform to provide web applications and integrations with external systems. As a member of team you will work with business analysts and testers on implementation eCommerce solutionsand to understand requirements of international customers.
Your main duties as Senior Java Developer is development of web applications, system integrations as well as unit tests while keeping in mind the continuous improving technical best practices and standards. On this position you will also take part in customer-facing activitiessuch as communication with customer's technical and business teams, helping shape and clarify business requirements.
Moreover, Senior Java Developer will lead on various development activitiessuch as designing and developinga specific component, integration or larger part of the solution.
To meet our requirements ideal candidates should have Computer Science degreeand 5 years experiencein developing applications with Java language (5 or higher). We also expect you to be able to work with Spring (2.5 or above), Object Relational Mapping frameworks for example Hibernate, JPA and relational database like Oracle, MySL, SQL Server JUnit.
Person working as a Senior Java Developer should use good verbal and written Englishand possess advanced communication skillsto take technical leadership position while maintaining team’s collaborative spirit.
In additional experience or interest in Scrum/XP, web/mobile application development, eCommerce projects or any of the following: Spring-MVC, Struts, or JSF, Tomcat/tcServer, Web services (RESTful and/or SOAP), JMS, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Ajax would be an advantage.
