/Senior GL & Reporting Specialist/

Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly financial and management accounts for foreign subsidiaries
Executing daily general accounting activities and month-end close process
Participating in transition / migration projects from foreign subsidiaries
Assistance with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Supporting local audits and preparation of statutory accounts
Preparing VAT declarations
Executing monthly and quarterly preparation of balance sheet accounts reconciliations
Responsible for suggesting / initiating process and system improvements, driving efficiency and reducing complexity in day-to-day tasks
Monthly Cash management
Monthly Inventory reconciliations
Ad-hoc reporting to Head Office
Job Requirements:
1 - 3 years of Accounting/Finance experience, prior shared service environment experience or work abroad a plus
Degree in Finance & Banking or Economics
Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA will be a distinctive advantage
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French or German as a second language
Solid accounting knowledge
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with local Logistics, Purchasing and Sales teams on a daily basis
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
Strong computing skills; advanced Excel required; experience in using Navision or SAP would be an advantage
