Senior FP&A Specialist (m/f)
The successful candidate is viewed as a "build" task within the Finance Team in Europe. In this broad role you will support the Country Manager with various financial activities including budgeting, forecasting or planning. This person will report directly into the Director of Commercial Finance and work very closely with the Financial Services Centre and FP&A team based in Germany.

Our client is an international financial company that operates worldwide. Due to their expansion in Poland, on the behalf of client we are seeking an experienced, result-driven and business-oriented Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist. This is stand-alone position.
Description
- Lead local budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis and reporting processes
- Coordinate short- and long term forecasts preparation for various functions in the organization
- Provide full analytic support to the key Stakeholders including Board of Directors
- Prepare recommendations in a decision-making process in all the above listed areas, in particular in regards to top-line
- Perform monthly closing activities / expense and Business profitability analysis: reports to local management and departments' heads, to Regional HQ
- Support develop and build relevant and robust data handling process
- Supporting and provide timely and accurate information to Management within designated countries, including the Sales Teams
- Assist in analysis and comparison of Financial and Management information working with the Financial Services Center
- Support and/or lead ad hoc analyses as required
- Ensure controls for all financial processes in regards to its adequacy with financial reporting standards
Profile
- University degree in finance/economics, professional qualification (CIMA or equivalent) will be a strong asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role preferably in international sector
- Deep understanding of all P&L and Balance sheet components
- Knowledge of business valuation techniques is a plus
- Experience of Polish GAAP, IFRS
- Knowledge of UK GAAP or/and US GAAP would be an added value
- Strong strategic thinking combined with excellent analytical skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Hyperion knowledge will be an advantage
- Very good knowledge of Excel
- Fluency in English is a must
- Some travel is anticipated with this role
