Senior Development Engineer (Inverters) – Remote and/or Hungary
Energy is crucial to all of us today, from windfarms and petrol stations to the next Nuclear Power plant, everywhere you look the world is full of energy-creation. To do this, there are some technical skills needed around power circuits and the inverters needed to help them actually work as conductors.
Working in one of the best teams in Central Eastern Europe you would be needed to work remotely, but ideally with some travel to the local office in Hungary, or you could move there if you prefer the warmer climate.
Our Client is a company involved in designing and building power modules for motion control, renewable energy and power supply applications. They are also renowned for setting performance standards for both custom and application-specific solutions.
The role would entail:
- Take overall responsibility for developing power circuits for inverters
- Create new product concepts for photovoltaic, motion control and power supply applications
- Select semiconductor components for future power modules
- Find the best cost-efficiency solutions for our customers’ needs
- Present your technical initiatives at senior management level.
It would be great if you had the following skills:
- Electrical Engineer degree
- At least 5 years’ experience in electronics design
- Fluent command of spoken and written English
- Innovative thinking that can bring the R&D activities to a higher level
- Proven track record at professional renewal and creative initiatives
- Evidence of your result oriented mindset
- Several development projects successfully completed with involvement of other professionals
- Experience in power electronics
- Demonstrated passion to technical sciences
- Customer-centric mindset and behavior
