Senior Database Developer

The accepted Candidate will be appointed to pursue his/her long term carrier at EPAM Poland and will join high profile project at one of our biggest client in Krakow.

• Qualification in IT or equivalent

• Strong post-qualification experience at minimum

• Knowledge and experience of the following:

• Experience with data warehouse architecture, worked on the data warehousing project

• Good understanding of RDBMS architecture

• Solid PL/SQL coding experience

• Solid experience with SQL query tuning

• Experience with working on large data volumes

• Oracle

• Familiar with the Continuous integration concept

• Committed to code quality

• Open minded, can think out of the box, can resolve issues independently

• Good communication skills, good command of English language

• Willing to learn new things such as XML databases, big data

• Experience with ETL tools is not a must, but considered an advantage

• Unix/Linux experience

Nice to have:

• Xquery

• Marklogic

• XML DB

• ETL

• SQL loader
