Person handling this position will be responsible for 2nd and 3rd line support in area of Application Technical Management
- Administration of applications
- Keeping current documentation of performed tasks
- Preparing the operating procedures for the application
- Preparing technical documentation
- Testing and implementation of new application versions and changes
- Prevention and elimination of incidents and problems
In connection to new international projects, applications engineer will be able to face many interesting challenges.
Job Requirements
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux administration
- Good Knowledge some of middleware applications like Apache, Apache-Tomcat, IIS, IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, JBoss
- Familiar with databases (MS SQL/Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Scripting skills Bash/Shell/VB
- Networking (Load Ballancing, Firewalls, DNS) would be a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Problem solving capabilities
- Proactive attitude
- Good command of English (verbal and writing)
