Your new company
For our Client, international company located in Katowice, we are looking for a Scrum Business Analyst to software development team focused on Java technology.
Your new role
Holding this position you will be focusing on critical parts of the rebalancing tool/application: rebalancing engine, financial model management, computation modules and integration to various internal data providers. You will cooperate with the team to create a user stories that align with business requirements - gathered from existing BRD, industry (investment) research, and business stakeholders. Also, part of your duties will include organizing and planning stories in the form of sprints, providing accurate and well-structured reports on the project's progress, and delivering software to market. You will assist in prioritization efforts, release planning, reviewing stories/tasks, participate in in Scrum ceremonies and conduct demo.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful on this position, you should have over 1 year of experience as BA and/or PO together with product backlog management or project management/Scrum master. You must have strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the roles of the team. Experience in writing requirements in user story format for software applications with ability to prioritize stories in the backlog based on business values and dependencies. Moreover, you need to hold experience in participating in backlog grooming sessions with software development team. MS Excel knowledge will be helpful in verifying calculations, algorithm flows, and input/output data definition. Holding experience in financial sector would be also an advantage. Due to work in international environment, you need to hold fluent English language skills (C1 level).
