Sales Manager Poland and CEE region (filling machines)

The successful candidate will have a mission to develop sales of filling machines in Poland and other countries in the CEE region. The main target will be to generate and increase sales of machines dedicated to dairy, desserts or beverages business. In this role fluent English is essential. Working knowledge of Russian language will be an advantage. Willingness to travel 50%-75% of time is required.

Description

  • Prospect the Dairy, Desserts and Beverages industry in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, to develop sales of filling machines
  • Actively present and promote the company offer to generate opportunity leads both stand-alone and complete lines
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships through regular and direct contacts with different roles/stakeholders both at Corporate and Local/Plant level
  • Collect all technical information to define in detail the customer needs
  • Maximise each commercial project opportunity, coordinating, as a Commercial Project Leader, different internal stakeholders/functions, to drive them successfully through the different phases of the sales process
  • Communicate with Application Engineering and Product Architects teams to design the most adequate technical solutions and build commercial proposals
  • Keep regular contacts with head office and plants to exchange information about equipment and solutions
  • Evaluate and deliver the assigned yearly budget, propose and follow-up the annual sales plan to the Sales Director
  • Report all his/her activities regularly to the Sales Director keeping accurate and updated records in the company's CRM system
  • Occasionally perform Key Account Management activities with the selected accounts, as requested by the Key Accounts Director
  • Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales, profitability and efficiency in his/her geographical market

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing & Sales /Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or Food Engineering.
  • Project management background and MBA as a plus
  • 5 -10 years of experience in the Sales of capital equipment to the Dairy, Desserts and Beverage industries
  • Proficient in English. Russian and other foreign languages as plus
  • Willing to travel 50%-75% of his working time to meet customers within his assigned geography
  • A self-motivated team player with excellent strategic vision, sales leadership and time management skills
