THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.

The company of our client develops and produces pest and crop control products in Europe. Their brand continues to grow their brands and market knowledge while maintaining a forward-thinking attitude. There key business areas are focused at improving the relationships, provide product knowledge and gaining new markets.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As the Sales Manager Pest/Crop Protection a combination of market knowledge and a strong network in the agricultural business is key to success. This will involve relationship management between customers and stakeholders such as agricultural companies, farmers and other industry related business. You would work as an key stakeholder between existing and new customers and your own R&D team within the company. Target driven and challenging project are your motivator. Furthermore, be developing new strategies and represent the company throughout the Netherlands and Europe.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organize and realize targets for exciting and new markets
• Further develop research knowledge and potential of new market ideas/products
• Invest in market opportunities by managing business strategy and aligning this with R&D
• Write, present and implement business strategy

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in agricultural (sales) related fields or equivalent working experience
• Ranging from 6-10 years of work experience
• Advanced agricultural/horticultural knowledge including business development, sales and relationship network
• Fluent in Dutch is a must
