Risk Specialist
Miejsce pracy: WarszawaAs a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing assistant-level support on a day-to-day regulatory compliance, e.g. supporting practising lawyers on issues with engagement letters, non-disclosure agreements, outside counsel guidelines; conducting risk assessments for the firm’s cloud based projects; supporting compliance with external regulations such as MAR, GDPR and many more; handling requests for insider lists;
- Providing support on risk management, e.g. updating incident registers;
- Providing support on privacy and data protection issues, e.g. keeping record of data processing activities; handling requests for access to and use of the firm’s IT systems; serving as an escalation point for Risk Warsaw Team reviewing reports on use of the firm’s IT systems to identify suspicious activities;
- Processing requests and approvals in line with the firm’s risk policies and procedures;
- Responding to Regulatory Compliance related questions for pitches and RFPs;
- Providing general risk support on the firm’s projects;
- Conducting preliminary research on professional rules and regulations affecting law firms.
We require :
- Fluency in English (min. C1)
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably in Risk Management, Audit/ Compliance/Internal Control, Legal, Data Protection
- Academic degree, preferably Economics, Audit/Compliance/Internal Control, Legal background
- Availability to work full-time
- Ability to prioritize time-critical tasks and adhere to deadlines
- Client- focused and service-oriented approach
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Motivation to develop within Risk Management/Compliance in a law firm environment
