Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Netherlands.
The company is an international organization operating in the production and development of pharmaceuticals.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Rheologist will be involved in multiple projects for early stage product development. You will apply your expertise in rheology and various instrumental techniques in analytical chemistry to support formulation activities and product innovation. In addition, you will coach technicians and scientists in the company to further develop the R&D mindset.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- develop analytical methods which are ready for validation
- application of quality and laboratory standards for the optimization of analytical methods
- keep up with scientific developments with regards to analytical technologies and rheology
REQUIREMENTS
- MSc/PhD in chemistry, analytical or pharmaceutical sciences with at least 5 years relevant working experience in the industry
- understanding of the ICH-, FDA-, and EMEA guidelines for method development and GDP/GLP requirements
- strong understanding of and experience with rheology (oscillatory), UPLC/HPLC & GC development, DLS, and Karl Fischer
- knowledge of statistical testing and R/Python programming is a plus
- team player with excellent communication skills who is able to contribute in scientific discussions
