Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Netherlands.
The company is a multinational with various sites for research, product development and production and aims to bring health through food.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The research associate will support the R&D team in achieving the department's analytical goals for the development of chromatography technologies and the characterization and quantification of peptides and proteins.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- application of your expertise in chromatography for the development of methods with LC-MS and HPLC analysis
- manage multiple research projects at the same time and write accurate reports
- characterization of biomolecules (peptides/proteins)
- writing of SOPs and workflows in accordance with ISO/GLP guidelines
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor/Master in Food technology, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related
- at least 2 years experience in the application and development of methods for LC-MS
- affinity with the application of biochemical methods (ELISA, gel electrophoresis) and HPLC in combination with UV and RI detectors
- knowledge of quality standards such as ISO or GxP
- excellent verbal and written skills in English
