Research Analyst

Job description:

• We are looking for highly motivated candidates with an analytical mind to carry out quantitative and fundamental analysis of investments across various asset classes (Equity, Derivatives, Fixed Income, Commodities and Forex).

• They will work closely with the quantitative / derivative desks of leading global investment banks as well as will build and analyze trading and hedging strategies, perform structuring and valuation of financial instruments, portfolio management, risk management

Mandatory competences:

• Masters degree in Mathematics / Statistics / Financial Engineering / Econometrics from a reputed academic institution

• High analytical skills

• Very good English communication skills - both written and oral

• Extensive experience in using MS Excel

• Interest in Finance and a high motivation to develope in this field

• Work experience: 0-1 year

Desirable competences:

•  Experience in quantitative modeling software, like SPSS, SAS, Matlab, statistica, S-Plus

• Experience in financial services, particularly in analytics or modeling

• Proficiency in programming languages, such as VBA / C++ / SQL

• Familiarity with Bloomberg computer system
