R&D Product & Process SpecialistMiejsce pracy: Warszawa
Main responsibilites:
- Lead or Co-lead complex formulation projects. Act as R&D representative within each project team and ensure project follow up with the R&D project management tools.
- Develop products and processes taking into account consumers' needs and requirements of others functions such as Food Safety, Regulatory and Quality; ensuring that all documentation needed is available prior to start up.
- Design pilot trials, organize tasting sessions with Marketing and draw conclusions and recommendations for next steps.
- Participate in consumer test design, organize sample production and ensure product quality follow up.
- Maintaining and coordination works in application room (working instructions, procedures, raw materials inventory).
- Realize industrialization.
- Collaborate with suppliers to obtain best results for product development (brief suppliers and follow up on their progress).
- Propose and implement productivity projects for product lines.
- Network with global R&D community to gain knowledge and share in best practices.
Requirements:
- Master Degree in Food Science or closely related field
- 3+ years' experience in product development, preferentially beverages, 5+ years of professional experience.
- International experience would be a bonus
- Good knowledge of Food Law Regulations and Food labeling regulations
- Basic knowledge of food technology, ingredients and basic laboratory analysis
- Knowledge of beverage processing would be a bonus
- Proficient in computer skills
- Strong project management/organization skills
- Good communication skills (oral & written)
- Strong analytical skills
- Good planning abilities and ability to work independently
- The ability to take initiative and calculated risk
- Ability to work cross-functionally and able to train staff.
- Openness and ability to build efficient internal and external network of contacts
- Ability to engage and influence peers and stakeholders

- Very good verbal and written communication skills in English.
