Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
This client is a bakery ingredients giant with a global footprint. With multiple facilities worldwide, they are constantly growing and improving their product range. For this, they seek the best R&D specialists available, to cater to local markets.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You travel 30% of your time to check the status of the product development on the ground. Different markets have different preferences and you map them, combining market research with practical product design. You can offer technical assistance to your colleagues and are a real team player, ready to fill in where gaps may form. To do this, you are communicative, self-starting and you must have experience with managing multiple projects at a time. Precision is key. This makes the job difficult but versatile.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• translating market research into new products
• managing new product development
• offering technical assistance to colleagues from multiple departments
• close cooperation with sales, marketing and R&D
• training local NPD teams
REQUIREMENTS
• BSc in Food Technology or similar, preferably a MSc
• 5-10 years of work experience within the bakery sector
• specialisation related to baked foods, either frozen or fresh
• experience with project management
• travel will make up 30% of your time
• fluent Dutch and English are a must! French is a strong plus
• you are culturally sensitive, self-starting, pro-active and a good team player
