Your new role
On this position you will be responsible for ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the Financial Shared Service Center according to the requirements of the Group Accounting Manual and Local Legal requirements for specific area of responsibility (General Ledger and Fixed Assets). You will be responsible for supervision of the SSC R2R team for the pilot countries, coaching team members, set goals, evaluate skills development, develop individual action plans and train team as needed; issue resolution for service area and performing day to day operations in respective area of General Ledger (GL-postings, reconciling balance sheet accounts, process period-end adjustments and accruals, GL close process, maintain fixed assets, bank reconciliation).
What you'll need to succeed
You need to have previous experience in transitioning accounting activities into a SSC and first leadership experience. Your excellent knowledge of VAT processing and SAP work experience will lead to your success. Fluency in English and German and university degree in Economics/Finance are essential as well. We will be happy to see that you are self-driven and independent person with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
