THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zeeland Netherlands.

The company is an EVMI Food Top 100 company specialized in AGF. Its clients include major retailers and fast food chains. The company is ambitious and believes that Quality Assurance is essential to its business strategy.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Quality Service Manager is responsible for building and maintaining client relations and identifying clients' needs and wishes with regards to quality. The Quality Service Manager will translate these needs and wishes into internal quality management systems and new work practices. In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to be closely involved with both clients and the internal organization. The Quality Service Manager is part of the Corporate QA Team and will report directly to the Corporate QA Manager. This position will not have direct reports, but QA specialists will report functionally to the Quality Service Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintaining relations with clients, including regular visits to discuss quality issues and to give product presentations.
- Aligning product specifications with the client's needs through adaptations in the QMS and new work practices.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert and support the supply chain in continuous improvement and meeting the client's expectations.
- Be a stakeholder manager who can bring clients, Sales, Production and other departments together.
- Conducting root cause analysis and assisting plants with continuous improvement projects.

REQUIREMENTS

- HBO Food Technology; University degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance and Customer Relations, preferably multinational clients.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methods.
- Fluency in English required, fluency in Dutch strongly recommended.
- Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally (approx. 20-30%).
