For 3-6 months Quality Engineer will be assigned to plant located in Southern Europe, then will be the first person responsible for quality operations within a new site planned in Silesia.

For our Client, international manufacturing company willing to locate automotive plant in Silesian voivodeship, we are looking for an experienced and highly-motivated Candidate on the position of: Quality Engineer
For 3-6 months Quality Engineer will be assigned to plant located in Southern Europe, then will be the first person responsible for quality operations within a new site planned in Silesia.
Responsibilities:
- Support site in Southern Europe working closely with the Quality Manager and the team locally
- Securing regular day to day needs with focus on managing customer, supplier and internal non conformities but also support and when needed drive PPAP, APQP and other processes as well as process improvements within assigned areas.
- Implement, maintain and improve the quality standards and certifications working together with the Quality Manager
- Manage the customer relationships regarding quality
- Propose further improvements regarding safety and quality.
- Manage customer complaints, root cause analysis, containment actions, recommendation of corrective actions and the 8D process and documentation.
- Issue quality documents, work instructions and procedures.
- Creating standards of performance and inspection systems.
- Providing Quality engineering expertise in support of product development projects.
- Root cause analysis, statistical analysis and implementation of effective continuous process improvements.
- Review and approval of Engineering Change Orders.
- Quality, Environmental & Health & Safety system performance auditing.
- Establishing quality requirements for external suppliers assessing both suppliers and own company's product specifications and customer requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Quality Engineer in automotive industry
- Technical Engineering degree
- Operational experience in manufacturing environment
- Working experience and knowledge of ISO9001 & IATF16949, VDA 6.3
- Ability to conduct quality system audits
- Knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, APQP, etc.
- Experience working with 8D
- Statistical methods and statistical audit plans and analysis
- Quality assurance guidelines, processes and standards
- Fluent English
- Excellent communication skills
- Can-do attitude
