Quality Control Manager
Your qualifications:
- Minimum degree: Bachelor and same level
- Study Area: Mechanical/Material Engineering and the like
- Language: English Advanced(Fluent speaking)
- Desirable experience of above 10 years in Quality Control management
- Essential experience to work with GM above 5 year
- Specific requirements of GM, Fiat
- ISO / TS 16949: 2009 - Internal Auditor Training (internal)
- MSA - Implementing Analysis Reference Manual Measurement
- APQP - Advanced Product Quality Planning 2nd Edition, Control Plan and PPAP
- FMEA - Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
- SPC - Statistical Process Control
- GD&T module, Fundamentals and Design Interpretation with use of GD&T
- Quality tools
Your role:
- Achieve the results proposed by the organization through monitoring and achievement of pre-established metrics, coordinating the team of quality through meetings, trainings and issue tracking solutions.
- Ensure that current products and new products meet the quality requirements defined by our customers and the organization through meetings / constant visits to clients.
- Ensure key quality indicators, tracking, monitoring and taking action when necessary: FTQ(First Time thru Quality), Zero PPM and Warranty PPAP on Time, formal and informal complaints.
- Develop and maintain proficiency in quality tools to meet the expectations of our customers.
- Ensure continuous improvement by identifying and correcting system failures.
- Guide, train and develop quality people team for the Quality tools are applied and used correctly for troubleshooting.
- Ensure the quality level required by our customers (BIQS).
- Maintain and re-certify, when necessary, the Quality System (ISO TS 16949).
- To ensure the flawless launch of new products.
- Lead improvement programs quality: FTTQ, Warranty and Customer Complaints
- Work with Purchasing to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported and that appropriate and timely corrective actions are implemented
- Maintain and update critical supplier audit system and schedule
- Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement
- Monitor, communicate and improve key supply chains
- Establish specific short / long term supplier quality goals
- Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers and customers to eliminate recurrence of non‐conformances
- Work to resolve supplier technical issues in a timely manner to ensure continuity of supply
- Develop long‐term supplier relationships and generate and implement cost reduction ideas
- Aide Manufacturing in the evaluation and qualification of new supplier materials following a defined new product development process
- Conduct the audit and evaluation for new supplier/materials/process
- Strategically lead supplier performance improvement projects in an effort to increase the supplier capability of consistently meeting customer’s requirements. Projects may include: process analysis, value stream mapping, process capability and throughput analysis, 6‐Sigma, 5S and Kaizen events
- Drive “Zero Defect” mentality within the supply base
