THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zeeland Netherlands.
The company is young and there are lots of opportunities for the QA Manager to shape the role of QA within the company.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The QA Manager safeguards food safety and product quality and manages the Quality Department. You will be responsible for 2 production sites, though you will mainly work in the site in Zeeland. As the company is growing, the ideal candidate is someone who can use prior experience to develop the role of quality within the company. You will also act as technical support to Sales and occassionally visit clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the Quality Department across 2 locations.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining the quality systems.
- Coordinating and conducting audits.
- Contributing to R&D projects.
- Being the point of contact for clients and joining client visits.
- Promoting a high quality standard within the company and advising the Board.
- Occassional travel, about twice per month.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience with QA in the food industry.
- Experience with HACCP and BRC.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
