Role Description

How do you realize a zero defects culture? How do you engage a whole organization to think quality? How do you deal with very diverse regulations on one production site? We offer a great opportunity for a Manager QA/QC who is interested in a fascinating role in Gorinchem. Working with many different types of regulations we need to comply to, related to the many different markets we are active in.

Responsibilities

In this position you are end responsible for Quality matters (QA and QC) of the Corbion plant in Gorinchem.
- You lead a team of Quality professionals; QA officers, QA manager, QC specialists and QC Manager.
- You are a member of the Operations Management Team and report to the Plant & Site Director.
- As our new Manager QA/QC your work field varies from leading your team to strategic discussions in the management team, facilitation of audits or the update of the quality management system

Requirements

In addition to your educational achievements on a M.Sc./Bachelor level, as the successful candidate for the position of Manager QA/QC you must also have:
- Experience in leading a team and creating an engaging environment
- At least 5 years of Quality experience in a food and/or pharma environment
- Familiarity with various quality standards; e.g. ISO 9001, FSSC22000, cGMP, GMP+ and ICHQ7
- Competency to balance Quality professionalism with Operational pragmatism
- Fluency in English as in Dutch language

You are a result driven, structured people manager. Are able to influence outside your hierarchical line and stand your ground when needed. You are a key interface between the plant and the different business entities of Corbion. Intuitive and diplomatic approach of relations helps you to get your plans in motion.
