THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
The company is specialized in convenience food and services both the retail and healthcare industries. The company has expressed the ambition to make the next step in Quality Assurance.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for the Quality Department (2 direct reports). He or she will participate in continuous improvement projects and will work closely together with R&D. The Quality Assurance Manager reports directly to the Managing Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Quality Department (2 direct reports).
- Ensure product quality compliant with quality systems and legislation.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Conduct internal audits, support external audits.
REQUIREMENTS
- HBO Food Technology or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience as QA Manager in the food industry, preferably in meat processing.
- Experience with ISO 22000, HACCP, BRC and IFS.
- Experience with allergens.
- Experience with continuous improvement methods.
- Experience with packaging is a plus.
