THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Brussel Belgium.
For a growing international company in the food industry I am currently looking for a talented and ambitious Quality Assurance Leader who is passionate to take Quality Assurance to a whole new level. Strong technical and communication skills are essential in this role. The candidate will be in a team with two other global directors and will be responsible for the direct lead of 11 QA Specialists.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this b2b company quality is getting more important, so a leader with a track record and experience with the best practises in the industry is what is needed at this point.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be the global expert on sensory, food safety and (microbiological, chemical) analytics.
Take ownership to set the QA standards on how to design quality in; (1) a right and consistent way on all plants globally, (2) how to develop products and processes, and (3) set-up within the new factories and supply chain around the world. With the application and implementation of best initiatives you will lead the organization on Quality Assurance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with at least two out of the three core area's: Sensory, analytics, food safety
- University degree in Food science, chemicals, micro biology or related background degree
- 8> years experience in QA environment.
- Extensive experience with implementing change programs
- Strong communication skills, hands-on mentality, self-confident integrity
- Talent as a trainer on giving employees the right quality mind-set and quality tools.
