Project Objectives
- Implementation of a regional multi-tenanted software solution, supporting the digitized sales process for agents and internal administration teams
Note: the solution is a pre-existing application, currently implemented locally (different versions) in 2 locations. The project will implement one codebase of this solution into a central and shared IT infrastructure. The solution will be multi-tenanted but will also enable countries to implement local specific requirements (e.g. regulatory or compliance needs). It will be implemented in approximately 5 different countries within Europe.
Some Key deliverables
- Solution design for a multi-tenanted regional solution
- Roadmap for the transition of existing versions to the multi-tenanted solution
- Migration of existing versions onto the multi-tenanted solution
- New country implementation of the solution
- Establishment of a regional Centre of Excellence to manage and support the solution
- Establishment of appropriate regional governance for change and release management
- Negotiations with software vendors for project and ongoing services
Dependencies
- The project manager will interface into other dependent projects and work with other project managers to align timeframes and delivery phases as necessary
- Working with global, regional technology teams
- Working with external vendors / software providers
Key Skills
- Experience in software development delivery, SDLC
- Experience working with solution designers/architects and infrastructure teams
- Ability to translate technical tasks into a comprehensive project plan
- Skilled in project management: planning, estimation, communication, risk management, project reporting etc., best practice project methodologies like PRINCE or PMBOK/PMP
- Ability to liaise with external service providers/vendors
- Ability to work with virtual teams
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in English
