THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
Our client is known as the knowledge institute for research in foods and flowers. As a global player the organisation has a strong network in the crop sciences industry. For their clients, the organisation conducts research according to a personalized project plan. The projects in this role are focussed on providing relevant training for professionals, new research and new business relations.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this role you will be responsible for the setting up, execution and follow-up of projects in Africa. You will function as the central point of communication throughout the projects by ensuring the project plan is complete, all relevant people are involved and the necessary resources are made available.
Your network within this industry will be a tool in getting the organisation involved in the projects.
As provided earlier the projects are of a broad spectrum making the work very diverse and continuously challenging.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using your network to be aware of market conditions and getting involved in projects of a broad variety;
- Writing project plans and executing these, obtaining necessary subsidies, coordinating the project and doing follow-up;
- Ensuring the communications with internal as well as external stakeholders remains smooth.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least BSc level of education and relevant experience in the agricultural industry;
- Experience with relationship management with a strong network in the agricultural industry;
- Ability to work with people but also independently, a strong communicator;
- A positive attitude and willingness to travel.
