Our Client is international Company, one of the leaders in industrial sector. Currently we are looking for experienced Candidates for Project Buyer / Senior Buyer Position, located in Katowice.
Senior Buyer key responsibility includes all aspects of supplier management activities for direct materials related to the projects including the management of: supplier performance, potential supplier risk, capacity, and accountability for securing 100% BOM part availability.
Additionally the person will provide timely and effective support in implementing of sourcing strategies for assigned commodities and will work closely with business stakeholders and their functions within the Business Unit (e.g. Engineering, Industrialization, Operations Managers, and Quality Assurance)
The ideal Candidate should have minimum 2 years of supply chain/procurement/engineering related experience within the industrial environment. Understanding of procurement, MRP, inventory, and production principles as well as good analytical and negotiation skills are the must. Additionally he/she needs to understand traditional project
We expect also University degree in the relevant field of supply chain. Fluent English is the must to communicate internally and externally. Candidate should demonstrate analytical skills in a transactional environment and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time. Demonstrated negotiation track and understanding tactics and Total Cost Of Ownership concept are crucial for success on the position.
