ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Project Breeding Manager, you will be conducting several breeding project for optimization of hybrid species. This will include collaborating with various departments within the organization. Having these responsibilities requires performance of the following tasks to the highest standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be managing several breeding projects and be responsible for the following:
• Work in collaboration with the Marketing and Breeding teams to assure alignment of quality, improvements and market needs.
• Close co-operation with data and information specialists
• Arrange planning, research and innovation of projects and implement then into practice
• Implement own research for breeding programs and create new species
• Seek opportunities to further improve plant characteristics resulting in improved customer satisfaction and quality
REQUIREMENTS
When you want to successfully fulfill this role you should have relevant experience in the following areas:
• Study in Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Genetics or related studies
• Between 2-5 years of experience in the breeding industry including genetics and breeding experience
• Strong writing and speaking skills in English and a second language
• Enjoy traveling multiple times around the year to visit breeding sights
