Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zeeland Netherlands.
As one of the big players in the vegetable and fruit industry, this client is looking for a researcher with a background in the AGF. They continuously improve their product range and keep an eye on market demand, allowing for flexibility and groundbreaking new product development!
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting job, in the way you get to combine your experience in the product development of fresh produce. You will be responsible for mapping the markets and seeing where consumer demand is. Consequently, you adjust the new product development to suit these trends. Although the production site is in the East of the Netherlands, you will be travelling throughout the country. During your travels, you will contact suppliers, keep an eye on purchasers and their wishes, change the product recipes and perform chemical analysis on the new products.

• Representing the R&D department at meetings
• Travel, both national and international
REQUIREMENTS
• Academic degree in Food Technology (BSc or MSc)
• Minimum of 5 years experience as product developer
• Team player, works well in groups, unafraid to lead and to ask
• Able to transfer your knowledge and share it with others
• Creative, eager to brainstorm new ideas
• Fluent Dutch, German and English are a must, both written and spoken
• Willing to travel up to 40% of the time, nationally and in Europe
