Production Manager (m/f)
We are searching for Production Manager experienced in aerospace industry or similar (with high quality standards) and in production staff management.
Client Details
Our client is an international leading company in aerospace industry proving metal elements. Due to opening a greenfield Production Plant in Poland, we are searching for experienced Production Manager to join the organization.
Description
A person hired on this position will be responsible for :
- Implementing and optimization of the production process, technology and personnel
- Working closely with other departments as well as with top management
- Taking part in strategic operational meetings and decisions, planning and forecasting
- Preparing and setting production budget for the Plant
- Managing personnel of 120 people with responsibility for: recruitment, coaching, motivation and development in accordance to production and internal information flow and policy
- Organizing work and making sure all targets - efficiency, quality, etc. are met
- Continuous improvement and optimization of internal processes
- Ensuring proper health and safety standards at work place
- Taking part in local and international trade fairs and conferences
- Reporting to local Technical Director
Profile
- Higher level education in Engineering discipline
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience on a managerial position in production company, preferably of aerospace industry
- Knowledge special and CNC process will be an advantage
- At least 2-3 years proven team management experience
- Practical experience in a production process management
- Strategic approach with wide knowledge of production processes, raw materials, quality control and new investments
- Good English is a must
- Open, communicative with strong leadership skills, dynamic personality
- Strong decision making and negotiation skills
- Business focused with experience in an international environment
