For our Client, an international company from Automotive industry, we are currently searching for experienced Candidates, who will join its structure at the position of Production Supervisor/Manager dedicated to their new production plant which will be based in area of Wroclaw.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate activities of shift production with Production Management in processing materials or manufacturing products machines and equipment
- Provide continuous, swift, and accurate feedback to Production Management in regards to all aspects of shift production
- Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product specifications and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan shift operations
- Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products, utilizing information from Production Management as well as knowledge of production processes and methods, machine and equipment capabilities and staffing requirements
- Assist in the preparation of operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to insure the production and quality of products meets specifications
- Enforce production processes and methods to insure proper handling of products and equipment
- Assist in the supervision, training and evaluation of staff, spending a minimum of 50% of time on the production floor
- Analyse manufacturing schedule to plan work assignments for group on basis of priority, worker skills, production methods, processes, material, machines and equipment
- Review work orders, product specifications, technical instructions and facility requirements and to facilitate requisition of tools, equipment and supplies with Production Management
- Demonstrate work methods such as wire routing, assembly, inspection sequence and test equipment operation
- Examine product in accordance with manufacturing and quality standards to insure acceptability
- Review and compile operations records, such as yield, scrap and maintenance costs; assist with related reports
- Required to participate in work of subordinates by performing such tasks as setup, operation, repair and troubleshoot
- Apply expertise to continuously improve products, processes and personnel
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Material Management or a substantially similar operations related field from a four-year college or university
- 5 years’ supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or operations related environment
- 3 years’ experience in production or process operations
- Must possess previous supervisory experience or demonstrated experience in leading, training, mentoring, and/or developing other team members
- Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
- Very good English knowledge
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing methods
- Previous Oracle experience
