ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Procurement Officer you will work in the Global Procurement Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Stakeholder Engagement - able to link market knowledge and stakeholder requirement to create breakthrough strategies;
· Sourcing - understands the supplier/strategy in alignment with global & regional strategies to execute action plans to achieve objectives;
· Supply Market and cost analysis - looking for facts and data analysis. Purchase price analysis of goods and services;
· Negotiation Planning and Execution - creates pre-negotiation plans, leads and participates in negotiation sessions with suppliers;
· Contract Management - Prepares implements and audits compliance with appropriate contracts;
· Supplier Performance Management - monitors, reports, manages and seeks to continuously improve supplier performance;
· Ensuring compliance with local and global Purchasing Policies & standards.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree;
· 3 - 5 years working experience, preferably in the area of Indirect Procurement;
· Experience working in an international and cross-functional/cross-country environment, experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset;
· Experience in Marketing (MultiChannel, Creative, Print, …) Corporate Services (Financial Services, Professional Services, HR, Legal Services and IT/Telecom is desirable);
· Experience in contract management;
· Knowledge of SAP, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
· Strong negotiation & influencing skills;
· Strong analytical skills;
· Process oriented and strong project management skills;
· Ability to develop innovative & creative solutions;
· Ability to operate independently and to work in cross-functional teams;
· Strong partnership, collaboration and teamwork skills;
· Pro-active customer and service focused attitude;
· Result oriented, dynamic, self-demanding, pro-active and eager to learn;
· Flexible, self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure;
· Reliable, assertive and enthusiastic;
· Excellent social and communicative skills, both written & verbal, in Dutch and English, French is a strong plus.
