An exciting opportunity has risen to work for a global player in the market of consumer goods production. Our Client, a well-established manufacturing plant in Ĺ ódĹş voivodeship, is looking to fill the position of Procurement Manager.
As Procurement Manager you will demonstrate leadership in creating purchasing strategy as well as developing and executing the business objectives for self and others in your team. You will be responsible for the procurement of strategic commodities and services and managing the supplier portfolio. Your tasks will include negotiation of strategic multi- million contracts with the objective to achieve optimum quality, lead time and cost reduction. You will lead supplier evaluations and oversee supplier development projects. One of your goals will be to build a spirit of international cooperation within the purchasing structures in the organization aiming at achieving increased buyer-bargain-power and higher quality of supplied commodities.
To succeed in this role you will need a university degree and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in purchasing department in chemical, cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry will be an asset. We are looking for experienced negotiators, who exhibit leadership qualities as well as an ability to motivate and coordinate a team. Very good command of English is mandatory.
