Pricing Analyst

Location: Gdańsk
Responsible for conducting analysis on our everyday pricing strategies. This individual will focus on managing and refining established pan-European pricing rules and additionally focus on sales and/or profit driving strategies at the category and class level.
The position is responsible for executing maintaining the pricing within the cluster with the key responsibility of optimizing pricing according to the guidance of the Cluster pricing Manager
The pricing analyst is responsible for measuring and implementing price increases.
40% of time
- Continuous price analysis: Maintain and optimize pricing for the complete assortment
- Using localized transactions, competitive and customer data, to conduct analyses on current every day pricing to create insights (structural and Adhoc reports), identify sales and margin opportunities, define recommendations and implement recommendations
30% of time
- Responsible for proposing and measuring outcome of test and tracking test results on test done to optimize the pricing on a day to day basis
30% of time
- Assist the Cluster pricing specialist in maintaining groups, ladders, and validating competitive information
- Bachelor’s / University level degree, preferably strong quantitative (e.g. Financial economics / econometrics or other related fields),
- 1-3 years of analytical experience
- preferably, 1-2 years of experience in pricing (preferably B-to-b, Retail, Online, FMCG)
- expert knowledge of Excel
- preferably, knowledge of analytical tools (Business Objects, Tableau, Qlickview)
- strong written and verbal communication skills in English is necessary
- strong analytical skills
