THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Belgium.
The company is grown over the years from a traditional small family company to a larger producer of the confectionery industry. The company is a dynamic company with several products on the European market. Has several locations in Europe, with one plant located in Belgium. The company is currently looking for a Plant Manager with several years of experience in the Food (confectionery) Industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Plant Manager is responsible for the plant located in the area of Brabant Flamand. The Plant Manager is responsible over the following departments: quality, maintenance, hr and production. The role of Plant Manager is mainly focused on making processes more efficient, waste reduction and cost reduction. Also experience with LEAN, TPM and HACCP are required.

REQUIREMENTS
-Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position in the Confectionery Industry (end products)
-Masters Degree in Engineering or similar studies
-Experience with Waste & Cost reduction
-Knowledge of Confectionery Industry
-Hands on mindset
-Strong knowledge/background in Quality & (Food) Safety
