THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
For a large company in the food industry, I am currently looking for an experienced plant manager who is responsible for the entire operations of one of the plants. The company is a multinational with several production locations world wide and is highly specialised in Bakery End Products.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Because of the large numbers of employees on the site, it is important that the Plant Manager is a people manager who has strong communication skills and has experience with leading large groups. Experience with +70FTE is required.
The plant manager is responsible for all the operational activities at the plant in Noord-Brabant. The plant has around 120 employees, divided over several departments such as Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain and has several production-lines. The Plant Manager has a team of 6 direct reports. On management level the Plant Manager will have on regular consultation with the Maintenance Manager, Purchasing Manager and the HR Manager to keep track of the progress of the processes. Also the implementation of new production lines will play an important role in the position of the Plant Manager.
The Plant Manager is also responsible for translating the strategical plan to operational level. The Plant Manager will formulate concrete plans to achieve the specific goals, focused on cost- and waste reduction and the improvement of processes by world class manufacturing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Directly reporting to the Operations Director
-Over 120FTE
-Motivating and stimulating employees
-Make sure the action plans, KPI's
-Develop specific action plans, based on strategical course
-Production, Quality, HR, Engineering, Maintenance
-Consultation on regular base with Maintenance-, Purchasing- and HR Manager
REQUIREMENTS
-At least 10 years of experience in the Food Industry, management experience
-Experience in the Bakery (end products)
-Minimum bachelor degree, Masters highly preferred
-Experience with 70FTE
-Demonstrable experience with translating strategical course to specific action plans
-People Manager
-Strong communication skills
