For our Client, a multinational production company from chemical industry located in Lower Silesia region, we are seeking to recruit an ambitious and experienced talent to join its team of professionals as a Plant Engineer.
The person on this position will be mainly accountable for coordinating and managing multiple capex projects (capacity increase, asset replacement, reliability improvement and other plant asset refurbishment or modification) and continuous improvement projects. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager he/she will have to prepare the site project plan, capital expenses budget, and maintenance budget. What is more, the Plant Engineer will ensure that all engineering activities are executed in a safe and efficient manner, in line with budget, time and scope as well as company standards. That person will be also in charge of managing maintenance systems for the site as well as planning and coordinating maintenance activities of local resources and contractors. What is more, he/she will be accountable for maintaining compliance of equipment with all internal and legislative requirements.
To be successful in this role you should have at least 5 years of experience on a similar position across managing multiple capital projects in a manufacturing environment and at least Bachelor Degree or equivalent level of qualification in Engineering. A good candidate would have an ability to work in a ,matrix” organization structure of the corporation, and capacity of efficient collaboration with personnel of the company from different locations. Background in chemical industry and experience in managing maintenance systems will be treated as additional assets. Proven record of achieved goals while autonomously work is also required as well as a fluent command of English. Developed understanding of Continuous Excellence methodologies and best practices as well as strong knowledge of engineering standards and project management tools are also very welcome.
