Currently for our client, international production company located near Wrocław (North-western side, around 35 km) we are looking for the candidate for the position of Planning & Logistics Manager.

P&L Manager will be responsible for managing supply chain (planning, inventory, customer service, transportation, purchasing) in international environment. He will be reporting to Supply Chain Director of one of Business units in Europe. Responsibilities will include managing 10 persons multicultural team in different locations. Main goal of the post is to ensure required customer service level and achieve operational goals.

Key accountabilities will include production and material planning which will be connected with developing production and packaging procedures to meet agreed customer requirements, work with Sales team and Business Managers to ensure proper understanding of market demand as well as operational constraints. Besides P&L Manager will be working with Operations team to plan production around plant limitations and restrictions whilst maintaining optimum plant performance and reliability and also managing inventory both finished and raw materials as well as call of process. Additionally he will be responsible for liaises with purchasing for proper raw material demand and supply understanding. Other key element of daily duties will include customer service. P&L Manager will be managing Customer Service and Order management process in SAP. He will be developing procedures, establish standards and administer activities to assure accurate order entry, efficient shipment tracking and timely delivery of products to customers. Additionally he will be cooperating with Sales, Marketing, and others to drive the use of SAP CRM tools to integrate customer information and updates to improve the overall customer experience. Very important responsibility will be also connected with supply chain and logistics area. P&L Manager will be a Partner with the Commercial organization and other supply chain organizations to facilitate or implement cost reductions and supply chain. Besides will be the owner of S&OP process for his part of the business in Europe and participate in global S&OP process. Other key elements will be developing financial and business analyses metrics & models within area, preparing transport and logistics cost budget, ensure the costs control and reporting and also managing transport process and cooperation with logistic service providers. Additionally active participation in continuous improvement processes to drive network optimization, cost reductions, and improved service in collaboration with other stakeholders and functions internally and externally. Last but not least important will be to ensure activities of team comply with site EHS procedures and policies.

The ideal Candidate for this role should possess few years of professional experience in a fast moving Customer Service/Supply Chain Environment (having an experience in chemical industry will be a additional plus) and Min. 3 –year experience of team management. Apart from that the candidate for P&L Manager role should be able to communicate effectively and build relationship with representatives of partner organizations. Besides should possess strong skills in Excel, Word and Power Point and also solid knowledge of IT infrastructure and tools in a global environment including ERP systems ( SAP). Having a APICS Basics of Supply Chain Management certification will be preferable. Ideal candidate should be able to communicate fluently in English (knowledge of German language would be preferable) and need to have strong people management skills. Apparat from that the candidate for P&L Manager role should be culturally sensitive, have well-developed emotional intelligence and understand the perspective of other people.
