We have vacancies at a state-run acute general hospital in Malta. The hospital offers services in all other specialties which include radiology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, neurology, pathology amongst others. The hospital is also the main teaching hospital of the University of Malta.

Job Description

We are looking for Registered General Nurses to work on a permanent basis. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and clinical skills here. It used by all medical, dental and pharmacy students for their clinical attachments, lectures and tutorials.

You will be expected to deliver basic practice nursing services and care to the patients and work within your own competence and professional code of conduct as regulated by the Council for Nurses and Midwives (CNM) in Malta. 

You will focus upon supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring of long-term conditions, health prevention and screening activities. You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.

Person Specification

We are seeking applications from the UK as well as other European countries including the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia. The applicant should have a minimum of 12 months experience in general nursing, be eligible for Maltese nurse registration and willing to commit to at least 12 months. A good command of English is a must.
