As a Developer you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for helping to develop a new product to process and localize large amounts of e-commerce listings.
- You will assist in the development of APIs, and integration of various e-commerce platforms with our product.
- You will be working as part of an agile environment, supported by the scrum methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full lifecycle of each application, including: collecting requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and performance tuning.
- Ensure implementation of software best practices and processes.
Must have:
- good PHP knowledge (able to explain the differences between versions 5.3 - 7.1)
- experience with the following technologies:
- Git
- MySQL
- MongoDB
- at least one e-commerce platform (e.g. Magento, WordPress WooCommerce, WP eCommerce, Shopify, etc.)
- strong analytical skills
- good written and spoken English, comfortable with working in an international environment
Nice to have:
- Experience in scalability and caching techniques
- Experience in applying SOLID principles
- Knowledge of TDD (PHPUnit)
- Knowledge of REST (Swagger)
- Basic DevOps skills (*nix, Apache/nginx)
- Basic JavaScript knowledge
- Some experience with Docker
- Experience in coding in Python
- Experience in SOA and message queues (like RabbitMQ)
- Experience in working in Agile environment
