Performance Test Engineer

Currently, we are seeking highly experienced and motivated Performance Test Engineer to join our multicultural team in NATEK in Cracow and grow with us.
Your mission will be to create custom automation frameworks, load generators, fault injectors, metrics analyzers, and visualization software using primarily Python in conjunction with existing open-source solutions. You’ll be also creating experiments that demonstrate how our applications perform under load and when stressed beyond their limits. Working with us you have a chance to collaborate with our best engineers and application developers to investigate system performance issues and test out solutions.
We are working in SCRUM, in an international environment, therefore you will meet people from all around the world.

Skills we expect from you:
• Min. 5 years’ experience in open system (Linux/Unix) performance measurement analysis and tools.
• Practice in applying statistical analysis techniques to accurately estimate and evaluate application workloads; in applying rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
• Load test tool experience (e.g. JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Monitoring and troubleshooting Java applications including analyzing garbage collection behavior.
• SQL and database performance.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration certification or experience.
• Development or scripting experience (Python/Java/C++/Bash).
• Ability to work under limited supervision.
• Excellent English communication skills.
