Toghether we arelooking forthe candidatesfor the position of Performance Drilling Engineer located in Warsaw.This position sits within theteam working on Shale Gas project in Poland. The successful candidate will establish standard processes, implement performance measurement data tracking, and identify performance improvement opportunities. This includes workingon ensuring operations plans meet established standards and working with service companies to ensure KPI's are tracked and improvements implemented where appropriate.Help with QA/QC of Wellview coding, global metrics, information supplied to external databases, and Project benchmarking.Liaison with business partners to make sure RCA investigations, quality assurance requirements, performance and reliability processes are communicated and followed by business partners,Oversee equipment failure investigations in support of RCA investigations,Participate in morning rig calls to address root cause analysis investigations and quality assurance concerns.
Ideal Candidate:Experienced in engineering and operations for land gas wells. Specific experience in horizontal applications, batch drilling operations, and shale or tight gas well projects is desired.Demonstrated ability to champion Best Practices (BP’s) and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) within group.Experience in developing and implementing key standardwork procedures & processes designed to improve the reliability and efficiency of erations.Works well with others in a mutli-functional team environment.Able to interact effectively with peers, Partners, Govt Officials, and service and contractor representatives.Sensitive to cultural differences and ability to work well with national employees and service partners.
