Performance Analyst
Location: Warsaw
This role is in Fund Performance, Analytics and Risk team. The team’s primary responsibility is supporting portfolio managers through calculation, interpretation & presentation of fund performance results but the team is also responsible for calculation and presentation of portfolio risk and is heavily involved in fund analytics. Assets covered are bond, leverage loans & structured credit products. The person hired for this role will be working in our Warsaw office, which provides support to the London team.
Key Accountabilities:
- assisting the head of the team in projects related to portfolio performance and risk and fund analytics;
- resolving data issues;
- calculation of performance and risk numbers and preparation of portfolio performance reports and presentations;
- updating and maintenance of performance & risk systems;
Requirements:
Essential:
- excellent English, both written & spoken;
- 1-3 years’ experience in fund performance (preferred) or fund administration department and experience with working with fund performance/administration systems ;
- good Excel skills, preferably knowledge of VBA for Excel;
- accuracy and attention to detail;
- willingness and ability to work with large volumes of data;
- ability to work with limited supervision;
Desirable:
- knowledge and experience of GIPS (Global Investment Performance Standards);
- working knowledge of StatPro performance system;
- working knowledge of credit asset classes (bond, loan, structured credit portfolios);
