THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional FMCG organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
They are currently expanding and in order to cope with the grow, they need a Packaging Technologist within the growing R&D packaging department.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Packaging Technologist you will be responsible for the implementation of new packaging: both primary and secondary packaging. Their products consists of cosmetic products in plastic flagons, applications, caps in secondary carton packaging.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Packaging Technologist you will be responsible the projects meet the time and budget targets and you will be:
- Managing internal stakeholders on a multidisciplinary level including R&D, marketing, supply chain, process engineering, and purchasement
- Technical support to business development and marketing team (for understanding customer requirement and translating the requirement to application)
- Trouble shooting in an early stage
- Managing laboratory tests
- Improving existing packaging and developing new packaging
- Guiding FAT and SAT tests
REQUIREMENTS
- At least BSc in Packaging Technology, Engineering
- 5 years' experience in the FMCG or cosmetic industry
- Strong communication skills in English, both internally and externally
- Able to work in a challenging and fast-paced multicultural environment
- Go getter
